Focus Muse is a focus timer app with AI-generated companion characters. The app plays pre-rendered character images and videos. It does not generate videos at runtime.
The front camera is used only when the user starts a focus session and grants permission. Camera frames are processed on device for coarse focus cues. Images, video, face data, and biometric payloads are not recorded, stored, or sent to external servers.
Focus Muse may use RevenueCat and the platform app store to process in-app purchases, restore purchases, and manage purchase state. Payment details are handled by Apple or Google.
You can use the app without signing in for free features. When you buy paid credits or choose to turn on Cloud Backup, the app may ask you to connect a Google or Apple account through Supabase Auth. This account connection is used to recover paid credits, purchase ledger state, and app progress after reinstalling the app or switching devices.
The app may store focus session state, growth level, selected character, motion review state, and purchase-related entitlement state on the device. If Cloud Backup is enabled, the app may sync account identifiers, focus session metadata, character progress, credit balance, purchase ledger records, and support requests to Supabase so they can be restored for the same account.
